Geronimo! - It’s been reprinted
Blue Guide Romania
My 500-page guide to Romania, over which its editors and I nearly killed each other - nostalgia - has been reprinted. This means some of the factual and printing errors have been corrected but the practical information is the same as it was in 2000. The book is primarily a cultural and historical guide. Blue Guide Romania concentrates on the country’s history, culture and the arts with a lot of focus on architecture and rural heritage. It then guides you through eight of Romania’s main regions including Bucharest the capital. As you’d expect there are large sections on the wooden churches of Maramureş, the painted churches of Bucovina and the Saxon kirchenbürgen of Transylvania.
